The Service Delivery Unit provide essential support to Treasury thought the delivery of Service Desk support, mobile device management, End User Computing services and IT Governance & Assurance capabilities.

We are looking to fill multiple positions within the area. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of an IT business environment, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical problem-solving, the ability to troubleshoot problems and be able to work in cross functional teams with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a strong customer service focus and an outcomes-based approach. We are seeking to fill multiple vacancies within the IT Service Delivery Unit, with an order of merit to be established from this process.

The duties of the position:

Service Desk
• managing allocated workload and duties on a day-to-day basis
• providing technical support in a hybrid working environment, walk ups, phone, remote troubleshooting and email
• Setup of mobility devices, both in person and remote; And hardware relocation and physical moves
• maintain documentation knowledge base and knowledge sharing to support cross functional team capabilities.
• delivering support for events, committee & international support, and Department Executive and Ministers

VIP Support
• Daily walk throughs of Executive suites, staff offices for both the Department of the Treasury and Australian Parliament House Ministers and Senior executive.
• managing allocated workload and duties on a day-to-day basis
• providing technical support in a hybrid working environment, walk ups, phone, remote troubleshooting and email for Senior Executives and Ministerial staff.
• Setup of mobility devices, both in person and remote; And hardware relocation and physical moves.
• maintain documentation knowledge base and knowledge sharing to support cross functional team capabilities.
• delivering support for events, committee & international support, and Department Executive and Ministers
• Prior experience in IT Service Desk with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve various IT issues.

Mobility
• Management of all Treasury Assets and Portable Attractive Items including enrollment, upgrades, troubleshooting issues and disposals.
• Setup of mobility devices such as Mobile, Laptop and iPads, both in person and remote; And hardware relocation and physical moves
• Management of Treasury office and portfolio agencies IT requirements including new and existing office locations nationally.
• managing allocated workload and duties on a day-to-day basis
• providing technical support in a hybrid working environment, walk ups, phone, remote troubleshooting and email for Treasury staff.
• maintain documentation knowledge base and knowledge sharing to support cross functional team capabilities.
• delivering support for events, committee & international support, and Department Executive and Ministers

End User Computing
• ability to work in a small team and in a fast-paced environment.
• ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders in various formats including verbal and written
• providing technical support and resolution for the windows desktop environment
• maintain documentation knowledge base and knowledge sharing to support cross functional team capabilities.
• understanding of a SOE, Virtual Desktops, SCCM and intune.
• understanding of exchange online environment
• creation and management of group policy requirements
• experience with scripting languages for the purpose of desktop management,
application deployment and automation such as Powershell.

IT Governance & Quality Assurance
• maintain documentation knowledge base and knowledge sharing to support cross functional team capabilities.
• ability in policy and procedure writing, including the creation, maintenance and dissemination
• strong focus on continual improvement for all Service Delivery functions including Customer Engagement, Systems and Policy
• experience with Government related Procurements through the DTA Marketplace
• ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders including APS and Executive Staff in various formats including verbal and written

Desirable Qualifications / Experience
Experience in an ICT Environment.
